SmartIPM aims at developing, optimizing and validating DSS tools in a real context of greenhouse cropping system, namely:

―     To develop, in real greenhouse cropping conditions, the tools that facilitate the collection of the health status of crops via the sampling and information analysis from the monitoring of European network of experimental stations and farms;

―     To promote the acquisition and implementation of expertise (knowledge) necessary for decision-making in complex situations (IPM strategy) for more respectful and sustainable environmental protection, while limiting grower's risks;

―     To develop decision support systems and tools relying on the re-definition of local, regional, and European decision rules (DR) taking into account crop protection and also socio-economic aspects of farms. These tools will enable advisory services to develop recommendation sheets to facilitate the decision-making process of the grower.
