SmartIPM presents its advances in tomato russet mite control in Cologne, Germany

JKI colleagues Elias and Alexander presented SmartIPM ongoing research and results on tomato russet mite

Invited by the agricultural chamber of North Rhine-Westphalia in a special workshop on Aculops lycopersici & Tuta absoluta in protected tomato production, our colleagues of JKI Elias and Alex presented SmartIPM ongoing research and results on tomato russet mite.

The workshop started with a visit to the biggest greenhouse complex of tomato production in Germany (more than 15 ha), where infestations of T. absoluta and A. lycopersici occurred. In the afternoon, Alexander presented the SmartIPM ongoing research and results to main stakeholders: plant protection advisors, growers and people from private companies, followed by a discussion.

The workshop took place on 13th march 2018 in Cologne, Germany.
