Participatory co-conception workshop in Valencia

A participatory co-conception workshop took place on 29 August 2017 in Valencia, at the experimental station of Fundación Cajamar Comunitat Valenciana in Paiporta, Valencia, Spain.

During this workshop the researchers and technicians of the two Fundación Cajamar experimental stations and also from Inra, analysed the pest monitoring and counting data of the first year of greenhouse tomato crop essays. The analysis of the pest monitoring data, the time consumed for sampling and notation, the health status of the crops and the subsequent discussions allowed to develop an optimised version of the sampling protocol and notation sheet adapted to Mediterranean conditions.

As a result of the participatory co-conception workshop we defined the crop health decision rules that we’ll test during the second year of on-station tests.
