SmartIPM is one of the seven projects selected in the first C-IPM call. In its final conference held in Brussels, C-IPM invited the seven projects to present themselves and discuss about their different objectives and approaches to IPM.
Two of the seven projects deal with decision support systems, one for weed control (DSS-IWM) and our SmartIPMfor implementing IPM in horticulture. Other projects include the management of hairy root disease in vegetables (C-RootControl), the control of mites in berries, fruits and woody ornamentals (UNIFORCE), the control of potato blight (IPMBlight 2.0), the prediction of wireworm activity in arable crops (ElatPro), and biosafe IPM strategies for managing disease resistance in pollen beetles (IPM4Meligethes).
